Semiannual FOD Walk Held at Atlantic City International Airport

Airport partners gathered at Atlantic City International Airport (ACY) for a semiannual Foreign Object Debris (FOD) Walk, reinforcing a shared commitment to airfield safety.

Led by Operations Manager Shannon Davis, the event brought together 22 participants representing six airport entities and tenants. The collaborative effort reflects the airport community’s commitment to identifying and removing Foreign Object Debris that could pose risks to aircraft, passengers, and airport operations.

FOD Walks play a critical role in maintaining airfield safety by helping to reduce potential hazards and reinforce best practices across the airport environment. These events also provide an opportunity for airport stakeholders to strengthen communication and collaboration while working toward a common safety goal.
